Kevin L. Bennett is a shareholder in the firm. He has extensive experience in both trials and appeals. Mr. Bennett has successfully represented Michigan municipalities in cases involving real property disputes, civil rights claims, construction contracts, governmental immunity issues, and Americans with Disabilities Act claims. He has also successfully represented individuals in personal injury claims, family law matters, and contractual issues. He has tried over 50 jury trials. Mr. Bennett’s appellate work includes three published cases.
Mr. Bennett received a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1985, and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1989. He was an editor on the Wayne Law Review for two years.
He is admitted to practice in all Michigan courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
